Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits provided under the Honda Marine warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable legislation.

| 3 years from date of purchase |
1.3
The Honda MPE Warranty applies only to new Honda Marine Products imported by Honda MPE and sold through an authorised Honda MPE dealer.
1.4
Not all repairs, adjustments, or part replacements are the result of defects in materials or workmanship. There are conditions outside the control of the manufacturer that may require attention from an authorised Honda MPE service centre. These include weather and environmental factors, normal wear and tear, and improper use of the Product.
1.5
Honda MPE’s liability under the Honda MPE Warranty is limited, at Honda MPE’s discretion, to the repair or replacement of faulty components or parts, the cost of such repair or replacement, or the re‑supply of services or payment for such re‑supply.
1.6
The Honda MPE Warranty applies only while the Product remains within the States and Territories of Australia. In this document, references to “you” or “your” refer to the Product owner.
1.7
Any authorised Honda MPE dealer will repair or replace any part that is found to be defective within the limits of the Honda MPE Warranty at no charge for replacement parts or labour.
1.8
All defective parts replaced under the Honda MPE Warranty become the property of Honda MPE.
1.9
It is recommended that servicing is carried out by an authorised Honda MPE dealer. Authorised dealers have the specialised tools, training, and technical information necessary to maintain the Product in optimal condition.
1.10
You are free to have your Product serviced by any suitably qualified technician, and this will not affect your statutory warranties. However, choosing to service the Product outside the authorised Honda MPE network, or failing to follow the recommended service schedule, will prevent you from claiming under the Honda MPE Warranty.
2. How to Claim Under the Honda MPE Warranty

2.2
All transport costs associated with delivering the Product to or from an authorised Honda MPE dealer, including travel time, transportation, or pickup and delivery, are the responsibility of the Product owner. You may have additional rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2.3.2. Maintain the Product according to the schedule in the owner’s manual.
2.3.3. Ensure all required servicing is completed by an authorised Honda MPE dealer.
2.3.4. Keep complete records of all servicing and maintenance. Honda MPE may require servicing evidence before approving a warranty claim.
2.4
If no proof of purchase is available and Honda MPE has no record of purchaser details, the warranty period will be calculated from the date the Product was supplied wholesale to the authorised Honda dealer.
3. Cancellation of Honda MPE Warranty
If a Product is recorded on any Australian State or Territory Written‑Off Vehicles Register, Honda MPE may cancel the Honda MPE Warranty immediately.
4. Transfer of Honda MPE Warranty
4.1
A subsequent purchaser may retain the remaining balance of the Honda MPE Warranty if:
4.1.1. For Honda Marine products, an authorised Honda MPE dealer submits a completed warranty transfer form to Honda MPE within 10 days or 10 operating hours from the change of ownership, whichever occurs first; and
4.1.2. An authorised Honda MPE dealer verifies that all maintenance specified in the owner’s manual has been completed by an authorised dealer and that the Product has not been misused or damaged.
4.2
The new owner is bound by all terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the Honda MPE Warranty.
4.3
If the Product was initially sold for commercial use and is later resold for private or domestic use, the remaining warranty period continues to be the commercial‑use period.
4.4
New copies of the Owner’s Warranty and Service Policy Manual are not issued for second‑hand products. The original documentation must accompany the Product.
